Small Mall is hosting Jenna (Kay) Houston for a micro exhibit showcasing their Tuck and Roll series

Small Mall will host a micro exhibit of Jenna (Kay) Houston’s work for a one night only show accompanied by an artist talk. They will discuss their photographic series Tuck and Roll as well as their lens as a queer artist in Pittsburgh.

Lawrenceville Distilling Co. will serve special artist-inspired drinks with their unique Parking Chair Vodka.

Jenna’s work will be available for purchase during the event.

 Jenna (Kay) Houston was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After moving to Pittsburgh, they focused on gender studies and art at Carnegie Mellon University and now work with video, photo, installation, and multiples. Most recently, Jenna was an artist-in-residence at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and The Growlery in San Francisco. They received grants from the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry and Carnegie Mellon University to photograph Pittsburgh’s queer community and will be a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center in 2019.
