Small Mall is partnering with BOOM Concepts to debut DS’s new book

Join us for a release party as Small Mall x BOOM Concepts present featured artist DS Kinsel and the debut of his new book of street sculptures/installations titled Totems, Shrines, & Sacraments | Street Sculptures by DS Kinsel.  The book features photographs documenting Kinsel's street art practice of creating temporary unsanctioned sculptures/installations of public art in urban settings.

The book will be available for purchase at Small Mall during the event as well as individual prints displayed and available for purchase by DS Kinsel.


Additional work will be available for purchase in shop during event time as well.


DS will be DJing vinyl records for the night.

Beer from Full Pint Wild Side will be available.

DS Kinsel is a Pittsburgh native, the co-founder of BOOM Concepts, and on the board of  Pittsburgh’s Center for Creative Reuse. His work is an inspired reflection of his race, culture,  and generation. He is interested in questioning the basis of fine art. He has shown work at  Future tenant, Shaw Galleries, ASSEMBLE, and ImageBox. His work has been featured in  Hyperallergic Labs and the Jenesis Magazine.

Full Pint Brewing Company  opened its doors as a production brewery in 2009. Since then, they have opened two on-premise pubs, including the Wild Side pub in Lawrenceville, and expanded distribution into several states. Although their flagship brew, White Lightning, has always been a primary focus, founders/brewmasters Barrett Goddard and Sean Hallisey use their 35+ years of professional brewing experience to craft everything from Flemish style sour ales to chili pepper Berliner Weisse.
