Transformative Circle: Making Art for Protections
Wednesday January 16th

5300 Butler Street
5:30-7:30 PM

Small Mall featured Artist Jenn Meridian will lead a maker’s circle on transformation and creating artwork for protection.

Attendees are asked to bring objects to be transformed. Through the powers of storytelling, collage making, and wrapping and jewelry techniques, these objects can be cleansed and made into protective pieces of work.

Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring in either forgotten objects, old books, jewelry, clothes, objects they are attached to, or any object they come across daily and may or may not encounter issues with.

Jenn will give a maker’s workshop and also share her process in collage making and creating work from found materials. Transitioning, willing attendees share their stories on transformation and healing as a well as go through a closing circle ceremony at the end of the workshop.

Additional work by Jenn will be available for purchase in the shop during the event.

This is a free event. Please RSVP with the form below.
