Wendi Miller Night
When: November 2, 2023
Where: Harris Theatre
Wendi Miller Night was a one-night only screening and exhibition focused on the impact of Miller Frame owner, trans-activist, artist, and loving parent Wendi Miller. This event was organized with the Pittsburgh Queer History Project and was the 7th iteration of MS89. It was co-hosted by the friends and family of Wendi, including her son Cooper and TransPitt sister, Robyn Michaels.
The MS 89 series is a live & in-person only nightclub archives screening event that pays community members to host screenings and discussions of tapes that they had a hand in creating. Pushing back against the tendency to consume archives in isolation, MS 89 packs audiences together to watch and rewatch as a ritual in creating new intergenerational friendships via a shared desire for a shared past.

The Art of Democracy 2024
Keystone Progress Eduction Fund and Casey Droege Cultural Productions organized a series of three exhibitions centered around voter issues that affected the region. This project aimed to create a dialogue around our democracy as a whole and the current political climate that was leading up to the presidential election on November 5, 2024.
Located across Western PA, these three exhibitions tackled contemporary issues of reproductive freedom, the impact of gun violence, and the growing role of artists in uniting community voices for change. Each featured the work of living, regional artists thoughtfully curated into displays and public programs that fostered discussion, connection, and contemplation, ultimately demonstrating what a healthy democracy should look like.
