Improv Theater Games and Social Skills Workshop

  • cdcp project space 317 South Trenton Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15221 United States (map)

Open Up PGH is hosting an Improv Theater and Social Skills workshop in the CDCP Project Space! This event is part of the programming for our Wild Things exhibition. Participants of all abilities are welcome!

Learn strategies that you can do at home, in school, or at work! Explore the opportunity to accept and express feelings appropriately through breathing, movement, mindfulness, and improvisational theater activities. Focus on the social and therapeutic benefit of imaginative, interactive games. This workshop will be tailored to meet individual ability levels –a perfect fit for participants with special needs. We welcome caregivers or parents to remain and participate in class!

Session will be centered around bringing levity and joy through social skill building. Our teachers can adapt or support depending on individual needs. Please let us know how you, or someone who is joining you can best experience the class.
