Contract for Participation in WCDC Exhibition

• AGREEMENT made between "The Artist” (submitting the form) and Casey Droege Cultural Productions (hereinafter referred to as the “CDCP”). CDCP is working with Naomi Chambers and on behalf of Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation’s (WCDC).
1. Payment CDCP agrees to pay a fee of $200 to the Artist. This fee shall be paid at the end of the exhibition after work has been picked up.
2. Completion and Delivery. The Artist agrees to the following activities with dates give by CDCP reflecting artist’s availability:
Delivery of 2D work to WCDC location (725 Wood St., Wilkinsburg, PA 15221) that is ready to hang with wire (if framed), along with editable file (word or google) including list of works, sizes, prices, titles, media, and any other info the artist would like to have on their final public list of works.
Delivery of a public program in collaboration with Naomi Chambers at WCDC location on one Saturday during the exhibit from 12-5pm. Artist will be let in by CDCP staff. $50 is provided for program use at the discretion of the Artist and Naomi.
Present for filming an artist interview at WCDC location.
Present for deinstall with CDCP staff. Artist will take all work with them, including any sales that have not been picked up by buyer.
3. Insurance. WCDC will only insure the work once it is in the WCDC location, so handle the work with extreme care so as not to damage or alter the work. Artist must provide their list of works with pricing for insurance coverage.
4. Rights to Reproduce and Image Use Rights. The Artist agrees to allow CDCP and WCDC to document and reproduce images of the Artwork, the Artist, and Exhibit for the exclusive purpose of promoting and archiving.
5. Sales. For any works available for sale, CDCP will take a 20% commission from the sale price of each work.
• In the event of the purchase of any work, title and ownership shall pass directly from the Artist to the buying party.
• CDCP will send include any sales with the final stipend, paid at the end of the exhibit and after artwork has been picked up by Artist.
• CDCP agrees to sell the Artist’s works at the retail prices shown on the list of works they submit.
6. Governing Law. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this Agreement, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Both parties' consent to the jurisdiction of the courts 1n the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the event of any litigation concerning this Agreement or the Work provided in connection with the Program and/or this Agreement. No action arising out of this Agreement, regardless of the form, may be brought by either party more than one year after the cause of act1 on has accrued.
